Hotels in Kuala Lumpur with KLCC View That I Don’t Recommend

Hotel Maya

The rooms are quite dated. On a completely unscientific and wholly personal note, I’ve heard wayyyy too many spooky stories about this place haha.

But all that aside, the location is excellent (near Four Points and W Hotel). It’s cheaper than most hotels on this list too!

Tips For Booking KLCC-View Hotels in KL

  • Room rates tend to peak on weekends and holidays. Check Malaysia’s public holiday calendar and school holiday calendar to plan your booking dates.
  • KLCC-view rooms are highly popular! If you can, book early to get the view you’re looking for.
  • Not all “city view” hotel rooms in downtown KL face the Petronas Twin Towers. If “KLCC view” is not mentioned in the description, reconfirm with the hotel before booking.
  • If you can’t book a KLCC-view room, check if the hotel has rooftop pools, restaurants, or lounges with KLCC views like SkyBar at Traders Hotel or Vertigo at Banyan Tree.
  • If it’s your first time in KL, take a trip up the Petronas Twin Towers! You can visit the sky bridge connecting the towers and the observation deck.
