1 Utama just got even more family-friendly with the launch of OiYO Studio!
This cheerful new concept by local-fave brand Montigo lets you pick up (and personalize!) a super-cute range of lunch boxes, tumblers, and carrier bags.
My daughter and I were recently invited to check out the new store, and let’s just say… we had way too much fun at their Play & Create stations! Think form + function + your kid’s name in pretty prints 😍.
Here’s a quick peek at what you can customise:
- OiYO Print Station – Add your name and choose from a range of adorable, ready-to-print designs
- OiYO Sticker Station – Stick on patches to make your items totally one-of-a-kind
Honestly, it’s such a fun mini-activity for families – and a cute and practical gift idea too!
In this review, I’ll walk you through the full customization experience, prices, and some of my favourite OiYO picks we’ve been using for our family outings.
Let’s get into it!

What Is OiYO By Montigo?
If you’ve always loved the nifty and pretty tumblers by Montigo, then you’ll be happy to know they’re bringing the same vibe to their latest family-focused brand OiYO!
Designed to make meal times easier for busy families, their product line covers the basic must-haves in the following categories:
- Munch (lunchboxes)
- Drink (bottles and tumblers)
- Carry (carrier bags and backpacks)
Everything’s thoughtfully made, aesthetically pleasing, and (based on my adventures with my daughter so far) durable enough to survive fun days out with the family!

OiYO Studio offers two stations that turn mealtime essentials into one-of-a-kind keepsakes:

Right now, they’re having a fruit theme and it’s too cute! The Fruity Buddies designs include apple, lemon, grape, and even durian 🤩.
You can go with just the name or just the cute design, but if you’re keen on both, you can get them at a combo price!

- Design printing only: RM15
- Text + design combo: RM30 (save RM5!)

It comes printed with a few picks of confetti-inspired designs!

OiYO Sticker Station
You can also customize your OiYO picks with the cutest stick-on patches!

There are some strawberries and cherries to match the Fruity Buddies print too!
OiYO Sticker Station Prices*
- Small patch: RM2 per piece
- Large patch: RM5 per piece
*Note: Price excludes product price.

My Experience With OiYO Products
My family and I spend a lot of time at parks, libraries, and museums, and it’s been so wonderful trying out OiYO products for our recent adventures.
I find the spill-proof perks especially useful!

I love that the Little Explorer Backpack is compact enough for daily use, but it made me nervous to have to store the Lunch Buddy lunchbox sideways (instead of flat – there isn’t enough room for that).

Despite having juicy fruits and some oils from protein-based dishes in the lunchbox, the lid does a solid job of keeping them contained. I was half-expecting stains when I gave the bag’s lunchbox compartment a wipe-down, but it came out clean!
👉 If you prefer a separate lunch bag where you can store the lunchbox flat, you’ll like the Little Explorer Snack Bag. It’s insulated too!

The Glass Rice Bowl is a serious level-up for my on-the-go routine. I’m used to carrying around glass lunchboxes, but I’d stuff my lunch bag with tea towels as a safety measure against my clumsy hands 😅.
The fact that the container is padded gives me more peace of mind. And the chic design just makes my meals, like, 100% more enjoyable?! Not sure if you can relate, but somehow my food tastes better when it looks super darn pretty haha.
👉 There’s also a rectangular Glass Lunchbox if you prefer the standard lunchbox setup – it’s slightly larger too.

I am greatly enjoying the Solo Tumbler! It’s a good size and does a great job keeping my drinks cool. I like that there’s no condensation on the outside, thanks to the double-wall design.
👉 If you’re looking for something a bit more on-trend, check out the Solo Travel Mug. It’s larger and has a handle for easy carrying.
OiYO Studio 1 Utama: One Last Thing!
Is it just me, or is birthday season in full swing right now? 😆
I love that I got to know about these customizable collections just in time for some of our family and friends’ birthdays. I think they’d make a thoughtful and practical gift!
You can either get them in advance as gifts or plan a fun day out in 1 Utama together – they can pick the design and patches on their own.
If you’re stopping by OiYO Studio soon, I’d love to see your custom creations! Tag meee @mamasguidetomalaysia 💖.
