If Inside Scoop is your go-to ice cream spot when the days get hot – or when someone in the house just really needs a treat (sometimes, that’s mama 😅) – I think you’ll be happy to know their range of ice cream cakes now includes cute picks for kids!
When I first found out about these new ice cream cakes for kids, I was curious. Excited, yes – but as the go-to cake-buying person for any gathering, I was curious about these two points:
“Are they delicious?”
“Are they actually practical?”
Short answer: yes.
Long answer: keep reading 😄
Inside Scoop has just launched Little Scoopers, a new kid-friendly ice cream cake range!
We had the chance to try out all 3 cakes (perks of the job, hey!), and I’m happy to report that not only are these cakes so incredibly cute, they’re also sensible enough that parents won’t feel overwhelmed by the price tag (or crusty cake leftovers in the freezer).
They currently come in three playful designs and flavors, which I’ll break down in detail below.

This post was written in collaboration with Inside Scoop. While this was a paid partnership, I only recommend what I truly find useful for fellow parents (and I really do love these cute cakes!).

Inside Scoop’s Kid-Friendly Cakes: First Look
Inside Scoop’s new Little Scoopers range is exactly what you’d expect from the brand – cute, playful, and thoughtfully done!

The cakes come in three fun designs:
💕 Happy Hearts: A beautiful heart-themed cake
🍔 Burgembira: A quirky burger-shaped cake
🌍 Planet: A cool-looking planet-inspired cake
What I like about these cakes:
✅ The kid-friendly designs are adorable + aesthetically on-point
The plush-like aesthetic is super cute to look at – they’re kid-friendly (not to the point of being too cartoony, if you feel me) and would bring such a fun energy to any party!
✅ The size is just right for a cozy celebration
Each cake comfortably serves 6-10 people, depending on the design. Enough to share, but not so big that there’ll be a whole lotta leftovers just sitting in your freezer for ages.
I think these cakes would be great fun for cozy gatherings like a family birthday celebration or a playdate – or maybe even as a hard-earned reward 😉.
✅ Pricing feels reasonable compared to other ice cream cake brands
The price range for the cakes is between RM99 and RM115.
What Flavors Are There?
🍔 Burgembira Ice Cream Cake (Crowd Favorite Pick!)
Price: RM99
Serves: 6 – 8 pax
What’s inside:
✨ made with Choco Malt ice cream
✨ encased in milk chocolate mousse and glaze
✨ layered with chantilly cream and milk chocolate cremeux
✨ set on a dark chocolate feuilletine base

Our take:
This one was the clear crowd favorite in our household!
The malt chocolate flavor tastes incredible and instantly brought back nostalgic childhood vibes – like a much more grown-up, well-made version of chocolatey drinks we loved as kids.
If you’re buying for a group of kids (or adults – no judgement!), Burgembira is a safe pick. It’s a crowd-pleasing flavor, and the design works for pretty much any celebration.
Allergen info: Dairy, egg, gluten, soy, fish. May contain tree nuts, ground nuts, and sesame.
🌍 Planet Ice Cream Cake
Price: RM99
Serves: 6 – 8 pax
What’s inside:
✨ made with Unicorn ice cream
✨ layered with raspberry jam
✨ set on a crunchy white chocolate feuilletine base
✨ encased in a raspberry mousse shell

Our take:
This one will instantly appeal to space-loving kids or anyone who already enjoys Inside Scoop’s Unicorn ice cream.
It’s my personal favorite tbh! The Unicorn ice cream is made up of raspberry yoghurt, which gives the overall taste a tangy and refreshing kick. The raspberry jam adds a beautiful tartness!
If your little one likes refreshing, fruity flavors, this is a great choice.
Allergen info: Dairy, egg, gluten, soy, fish. May contain tree nuts, ground nuts, and sesame.
💕 Happy Hearts Ice Cream Cake
Price: RM115
Serves: 8 – 10 pax
What’s inside:
✨ made with Cookies & Cream ice cream
✨ encased in a white chocolate glaze and strawberry mousse
✨ layered with strawberry jam
✨ set on a crunchy white chocolate feuilletine base

Our take:
I’ll admit – I was skeptical about cookies & cream + strawberry at first. It sounded… busy?
But I’m pleasantly surprised to find that the flavors come together wonderfully – the strawberry adds a bright, fruity contrast that makes this cake feel extra “dessert-y”.
Compared to the other two classic cakes, the Little Hearts cake has a slightly more elevated flavor profile, while still being very kid-friendly.
That said, this one does lean on the sweeter side.
Design-wise, this is the girliest of the three, and it’s lovely for birthdays or celebrations where you want something soft or heart-themed.
Allergen info: Dairy, egg, gluten, soy, fish. May contain tree nuts, ground nuts, and sesame.
A Cute Little Extra Feature
For a limited time, the Little Scoopers cakes come in a coloring cake box!
In true kid fashion, I think they might’ve been just as excited about decorating the box as they were about eating the cake 😂

We had a birthday celebration at home, and it was interesting to see the kids all huddled up around the activity table, happily coloring and decorating.
I mean, it’s a pretty cool hack to redirect that sugar-rush energy somewhere? Seems kinda genius to me! Haha
So… Which Cake Is The Best?
If I had to break it down simply:

✅ Burgembira is the crowd-pleaser – safe flavor, fun design, and one of the more affordable options.

✅ Happy Hearts is perfect if you’re specifically looking for a girlier design or a more elevated flavor.

✅ Planet is great for space-loving families – or if you just really love Inside Scoop’s stellar unicorn ice cream (also one of the more affordable picks).
Who These Cakes Are Great For
These cakes might be a wonderful fit for your occasion if:
- You want a delicious ice cream cake that kids will genuinely enjoy
- You’re happy with a ready-made design (no customization stress)
- You already love Inside Scoop’s ice cream cakes and want a kid-friendly design
Who These Cakes Might Not Be For
These cakes are probably not the best fit if:
- You’re not into ice cream cakes at all (fair enough 😅)
- You’re looking for a highly customized, themed cake
- Your celebration is outdoors for long periods with no freezer access (the ice cream cake can last ~45 minutes in the cooler bag it comes in)
Where to Get Them
The Little Scoopers ice cream cakes are available online and at Inside Scoop outlets nationwide.
Availability may vary slightly by location, so it’s always a good idea to check with your nearest outlet for the design you have your eye on.
Final Mama Thoughts
If you’re thinking, “I want something special for my kid, but not too over-the-top,” these cakes hit a sweet spot.
They’re fun, tasty, sensibly-sized, and feel thoughtfully designed for real family celebrations.
